Scrabble is a fantastic board game, but let's be honest: A lot of people cheat while playing it. If you're already one of those cheatin' types though, then you might as well know that it's possible to use answer-engine Wolfram Alpha to generate high-scoring words in seconds.

Lifehacker's Whitson Gordon called attention to this handy dandy trick recently. All you have to do in order to take advantage of it is search for "Scrabble" on Wolfram Alpha and select the "computation" option. You be presented with a box into which you can enter the letter tiles you're stuck with — even if they are "blank" tiles (just enter a space for those).

One more click later and you'll have a list of the highest-scoring words you could put together.
Yes, of course there are other tools you could use to cheat your Scrabble opponents out of a victory. Yes, of course you could cheat by distracting someone while you peek at his or her tiles. Yes, of course you could just claim that something silly is a word and hope that no one reaches for a dictionary to factcheck.
But c'mon — if you're going to cheat in a game of Scrabble, then you might as well cheat in one of the geekiest ways possible.
