If you got a job in January, it was more likely in manufacturing or retail than in construction or transportation.

The Bureau of Labor Statistics has created this handy graphic showing what sectors of the economy saw the biggest net jobs gains and losses last month.

The figures are based on Friday’s employment report, which showed that the economy had a net gain of 36,000 jobs in the first month of the year. The unemployment rate fell to 9 percent.

The manufacturing sector, which was one of the hardest hit during the recession, has been a relative bright spot in the recovery. In January, the BLS said there were manufacturing job gains across a variety of areas, including motor vehicles and computer products.
