Ewe won't want to miss Honda's sheepish, hilarious Super Bowl 50 ad

What does the rock band Queen have to do with a grassy field of sheep? They both just want somebody to love, according to Honda.

Ewe won't believe your eyes when you see the new Super Bowl 50 ad by Honda.

That's because while we may have gotten used to extreme vocalizations by goats, watching a flock of sheep launch into Queen's 1976 hit "Somebody to Love" is something quite new. And it's not baaaa-d at all.

Nobody's a-sheep at the wheel in this ad, however: The woolly wonders are gathered in a field with their farmer, a border collie and a shiny new 2017 Honda Ridgeline truck which, as it turns out, can pump out tunes via a speaker in its flatbed.

And the farmer is clearly a Queen fan, a passion he's happy to share with his attentive herd.

The ad marks Honda's return to the Super Bowl after skipping 2015. Its amusing 2014 ad focused on car safety and featured "Portlandia's" Fred Armisen clutching Bruce Willis. And in 2012, they famously had Matthew Broderick revise his character from "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" while driving around in his CR-V.

Honda is expected to nationally launch the Ridgeline in the first half of this year, following its debut at the North American International Auto Show in January.

Clearly, they're looking forward to bleating the competition.

Super Bowl 50 airs on Sunday, Feb. 7 starting at 6:30 p.m. ET on CBS.
