With most of the TODAY team in London, it's chaos in the studio. And when the cat's away, the mice will do their own hair and makeup and take over the news desk.
Al, Savannah, Natalie and Matt are all in London for the Olympics, so Hoda pulled an early shift and sat in on some of the morning hours. But Kathie Lee wasn't going to let Hoda get away with being too serious and Emmy-winning. She popped up, rocking her glasses and a glass of wine, and pretended to touch up Hoda's foundation. "Hair in makeup's in London, I've gotta help," she explained.
"How did you leave me and Kathie Lee in charge in here?" Hoda asked Matt. "We're trashing this joint."
"It was a moment of insanity," admitted Matt.
