The writing's on the wall
A simple way to spice up a room is to turn your wall into a dry erase board. It sounds expensive, but may only set you back as little as $22! Using Rust-Oleum Specialty Dry Erase Paint, simply lightly sand a wall, apply the coating and let it cure for three days.
There's a version of this paint on my 14-year-old daughter's bedroom wall — it helped me score tons of "cool" points with her. This is also a great solution for company conference rooms. A good dry erase board can often cost more than $300 — you'll save a bundle with this kit.
