There's an easy way to add a dash of style and color that requires nothing more than a few craft materials, a few minutes and a few dollars.

Gather your materials:
- Clean fabric shower curtain. Use any color of your choice, but we went with classic white.
- Clean cotton hand towels
- Iron-on adhesive
- Colorful fabric ribbon
- Scissors
- Iron
- Ironing board
Class up your curtain
This bathroom essential takes up a lot of visual space. Why be boring? In just a few easy steps you can make a plain shower curtain look drastically different.
- Place iron-on adhesive along the edge of your curtain. We did the top edge, but the bottom edge would be just as pretty.
- Next, grab your fabric ribbon and place it over the adhesive.
- Trim your ribbon to the size of the shower curtain.
- Using the medium heat setting on your iron, run steam over the ribbon and adhesive strip. Do this a few times. The heat will adhere the ribbon and adhesive to your curtain. And you're done!
Trim those hand towels!
