Packing — it’s the worst part of preparing for any vacation. Will it be hot? Will it be cold? Will you get stuck in the rain without an umbrella?
But leave it to a meteorologist to ensure that your suitcase is perfectly packed with weather-appropriate outfits for each day of your trip.
On a sheet of paper, Dylan writes down each day in a grid, alongside a brief notation of the day’s high and low temperatures and the weather forecast.
Below that, she lists articles of clothing for each day — a genius solution to ensure that you’re never left shivering because you forgot to pack a sweater. On a separate part of the master travel doc, she keeps a list of the total number of jeans, sweaters and other articles to avoid overpacking.
"Here’s @dylandreyernbc list for how to pack for a trip. No words," Fichera wrote. "Right down to the highs and low temps of each day. MS-mostly sunny MC mostly cloudy. Speechless. I’m without speech."
So are we.
It’s not the first time that Dylan has impressed us with her ingenuity. Who can forget when she pulled off the ultimate working mom move? On the Fourth of July, Dylan delivered the weather forecast outdoors in lower Manhattan, while baby Calvin assisted on set.
And if the adorable Calvin is any indication, we’re not the only ones in awe of his mom’s many talents!
