Long before Donald Trump dreamed of running for president — or before any of us knew about it, anyway — he used to weekend with his family at this opulent estate in Greenwich, Connecticut.
They arrived at the 5.8-acre spread in the 1980s, around the time Ivana was redecorating the Plaza Hotel in Manhattan.
She also did a number on the Greenwich home.
Ivana was awarded the estate in the Trumps’ 1991 divorce and sold it several years later. The current owner subdued the decor and built a tennis court and a 4,000-square-foot addition featuring guest suites, a lap pool and sauna.
The home, which sits on a private peninsula in Long Island Sound, now measures a whopping 19,773 square feet with eight bedrooms and eleven baths. There are also three staff apartments.
