There was a time not so long ago when the rules for nursery decor simply meant pink for girls and blue for the boys. You could throw some green and yellow in there, sure, but by and large many people stuck to these traditional color schemes.

That's no longer the case, though, as more and more new parents are embracing the beauty of gender-neutral design and colors.
