One of the best parts about my job at TODAY is getting to travel all over the country meeting interesting people with incredible stories.

One of the worst parts about my job is packing. I often find myself shoving wrinkly clothes into my suitcase rendering them even wrinklier on arrival at my final destination.

Whenever I travel for work, I want to make sure I look professional but this whole packing situation puts a wrinkle in my plan. That's why, for this week's episode of "The Check Out," I decided to try the Reliable OVO 150 GT Travel Steamer and Iron.

I brought it with me on a recent trip to Kansas and just like the name implies, it was super reliable!

On the first day of my trip, I used it to iron and steam out the shirt dress I brought for a long day shooting. I wanted to make a good impression, because this would be the first time meeting the family we were profiling, so I got up early to put the iron to use!

The iron itself worked well, but the steamer was the real star. When used vertically, it took care of even the toughest creases with ease.

A small beaker comes included with the iron to help fill up the steamer portion without any messes. It took up a little more room in my suitcase, but it actually came in handy!

I had hoped to use the steam function at the same time as the iron, but couldn't quite figure it out at first. I reached out to the company to see if it was possible and they said that it was! According to Reliable, "The blue button turns steam on or off, so you can use steam horizontally or vertically."

For a tool that's smaller than a pair of boots, it was pretty powerful!

The travel steamer and iron is a little on the pricey side, usually ringing in at $62 (although currently on sale for $50!), but as someone who travels a lot, I could definitely see the value. It gave me peace of mind knowing that I'd have an iron handy even if the hotel room didn't have one available.

I was relieved to know I could rely on Reliable to help me look sharp instead of disheveled!
