"I've got a pretty face and a pretty extensive Urban Spoon wishlist," Erin Wotherspoon's blog declares. This young woman has been working her way through the Toronto dating scene, but without the goal of meeting people. Nope, she's just trying to get dinner.

Really expensive dinners in some of the nicest restaurants in Toronto, and abusing the trust of quite a few nice men to do it. Don't think this is that bad? We'll 100 percent fess up to taking a few free drinks in our 20s, but Erin created a dating profile on J-Date, which is a dating site for Jewish people who want to date other Jews. Um, she's not Jewish.

"Well, there’s that awkward moment when you realize your date thinks you’re jewish." But she is willing to pretend to be for food. And blog about it, of course.

So. Not. Cool. Of course the reason we know about this is because she was outted on Reddit, where the comments have ranged from the obvious, "She's clearly looking for a book deal," to the scary, "I started reading her blog and wanted to punch her through my screen."

This can seem harmless on the surface, but it's a really crummy thing to do, especially if you're blogging about it and throwing the men who bought you dinner under the bus. She's also ruining it for the rest of us, who just want to meet someone nice...without the massive trust issues they gained after being dated only for their wallets.

Hey Erin. Get a job.
