Everyone wants to live a long healthy life, right? Well, working with your body's internal clock could help you make the most of your years.

There are a few simple things you can start doing today to help regulate your circadian rhythm, and thus improve your overall health and longevity:

  • Limit exposure to blue light from your mobile devices — try to avoid your electronics a few hours before you go to sleep.
  • Be smart about when you're drinking caffeine. Do you really need that 2 p.m. coffee? I would suggest you don't.
  • Eat healthy, nutritious meals at the right times.
