"Sunday Night Football" will have a special twist on Oct. 5 during the Bangels-Patriots game, highlighting TODAY's launch of a new 'Text to Give' campaign for pediatric cancer research.
The new text campaign is part of TODAY's Shine a Light series, which highlights worthy causes throughout the year. Recently, TODAY's Hoda Kotb decided to 'shine a light' on pediatric cancer, partnering with the American Cancer Society to raise money for pediatric cancer, as well as with Cyndi Lauper and Sara Barreilles to create the "Truly Brave" music video, which will play for one minute at Gillette Stadium during Sunday night's Patriots game.
To participate in the text-to-give campaign, anyone can simply text "VICTORY" to 20222, and $10 will be donated to support the American Cancer Society pediatric cancer research.
You can also still make a donation online via Hoda's crowdrise campaign, crowdrise.com/hoda, which has already raised more than $300,000 for pediatric cancer research.
