Three, two, one...dunk! With a bit of apprehension, a snazzy gown and a whole lot of teasing from her co-anchors, Tamron Hall took the plunge for breast cancer research

TODAY teamed up with The Avon Foundation for Women with a goal of raising $10,000 for breast cancer research. Viewers were given a choice: Vote for whether you want to see Al Roker, Natalie Morales, Willie Geist or Tamron Hall in the tank. The anchor with the most votes would take a swim if we hit our fundraising mark.

The outcome? Together we raised more than $14,000 and Tamron earned the most votes. See for yourself:

Tamron just edged out Natalie in our vote — so naturally, Natalie did the dunking honors today.

''I wasn't ready," Tamron explained after emerging from the water. "It went up my nose!"

Natalie, always the pal, said her co-anchor "handled it like a champ."
