The "cancer slayer" has spoken!
Shannen Doherty has said in the past that cancer has made her aware of all the love in her life. But this week, the outspoken actress said she came face to face with a stranger who shunned her after learning she'd just undergone a radiation treatment.
The former "Beverly Hills, 90210" star took to Instagram to share details of the awkward incident — and a few "cancer truths" — with her fans.
"Driving home from radiation with my love @kurtiswarienko today, we were in an elevator and I was asked how I was feeling," wrote the actress.
"I responded by saying that I had just gotten a radiation treatment so therefore very tired," she continued. "The random girl on the elevator with us physically lunged away as far as she could. She then proceeded to look horrified for the next 3 floors."

Doherty, who called herself a "cancer slayer" in the post, went on to list two important facts about radiation.
"You can't catch it," wrote Doherty. "The radiation won't leak out of me and go into you."
The 45-year-old "Charmed" alum, who's been documenting her breast cancer battle on social media, recently told talk show host Chelsea Handler — whose mom died of the disease in 2006 — that cancer "tears you down and builds you, and tears you down and builds you."
"The person I thought I was supposed to be or was going to be or who I thought I was six months ago is now somebody completely different," she explained. "I realize, 'Wow, I really thought that I was so brave and so gracious this entire time and really I was just hiding.'"
