Siggy Flicker

Siggy Flicker was never one to take the most popular route. The relationship expert, professional matchmaker, TV personality and author is a true inspiration — a woman who created a life doing what she loves to do, surrounded by the people that she loves to be around.

Never one to hold back, Siggy was once the friend who others turned to for relationship advice and her impeccable matchmaking skills. Her advice, a potent brew of common sense, compassion, and just plain bull-in-china-shop bluntness, always hit the mark. She turned her natural talents and true passion into a career. Siggy joined Model Quality Introductions and quickly rose to vice president of the matchmaking division.

With years of experience under her Ralph Lauren belt, combined with her vivacious, larger-than-life personality, Siggy was soon drawn to a much larger crowd; she has been able to bring her gifts as a relationship expert to a wider audience through television, radio and print.

Siggy’s professional opinion has been sought out by a variety of TV programs, such as TODAY, "Dr. Phil," "The Wendy Williams Show," "Access Hollywood," NBC morning news, "Fox & Friends" and many others.

She has appeared as a relationship authority on numerous syndicated radio shows throughout the country, and provided commentary on celebrity relationships for publications such as US Weekly, In Touch Weekly and The Huffington Post.

She also contributed to Marie Claire magazine with her advice column, “Single with Siggy.”

Most recently, Siggy has added author to her already impressive resume. Her first book with Random House, "Write Your Own Fairytale: The New Rules of Dating and Relationships," and "Finding Love on Your Terms" is out on shelves now.

What makes Siggy unique to the matchmaking game, is that she truly practices what she preaches; Siggy wrote her own fairy tale as well.

Siggy’s own love story is just as unique as her methods. Siggy met and married Mark Flicker, and after eight years of marriage and two children, Siggy and Mark chose to get divorced without acrimony and recriminations. It was the first “Divorce Done Right.” There were no lawyers, no bitter arguments and no traumatized children.

Siggy managed to remain friends with her ex-husband and his family and when Siggy married again, to Michael Campanella, her ex-husband, Mark stood up as Michael’s best man.

Page Six described the modern family’s unique situation as being “extremely grown-up.” Now, clients and friends were asking for Siggy’s help in not only finding love, but also how to end a marriage without collateral damage to children, family, and their own peace of mind.

Siggy lives in New Jersey with her husband Michael, her daughter and son, and Michael’s two children — one happy blended family. Her ex-husband Mark lives in New York and is a frequent visitor, along with his fiancée and their new baby boy, Liam.

Today, Siggy continues to do what she enjoys doing the most: consulting with clients and changing lives for the better.
