If being healthy and fit were an all-or-nothing proposition, most women would be a lost cause. We haven’t stopped caring about our well-being, certainly — we all want to be healthier, happier, fitter, prettier, better organized, more stylish and less stressed. We simply don’t have time.

Women today are striving to stay one step ahead of the clock. But in trying to do it all, we often feel we don’t do any of it well. There’s no time to cook a healthy meal. No time to exercise, to get a checkup, to de-stress. According to a SELF survey of more than 2,000 women, 25 percent are too busy to take a single day off from work.

These sacrifices have put us on the fast track to health-and-happiness deprivation. Well, enough is enough. Let’s put our own well-being atop our to-do list. Even if it’s only for 15 minutes a day.
