Obama was describing the food weaknesses each member of his family has — for example, it’s ice cream for elder daughter Malia — during the Kids' State Dinner last Friday for 54 junior chefs whose culinary creations earned them a trip to the White House.
First lady Michelle Obama admitted her weakness is french fries. She also revealed to TODAY’s Al Roker during an interview at the event that she’s probably top chef in the executive family, but that her husband isn’t that bad in the kitchen, either.
“I would say that I am because I've done it more. The president's not a bad cook.”
His go-to specialty "chili and a stir fry," the first lady revealed. "I mean, he's very proud of his chili."
