It would be lovely if weeknight dinners were long, leisurely, family events at our house, but that's just not the case. While we make it a point to sit down (in some shape or form) and eat together, usually there's a lot of multi-tasking taking place.
Homework is being done (for both kindergarten and TODAY), lunches are being packed, and kids are (thankfully) still eager to ask us a million questions. With all that said, multi-purposeful meals are key.
