Don’t be worried by the large amount of garlic called for in this recipe. That’s because braising the garlic turns it softly spreadable, along with a less pungent flavor. Serve with rolls and smear the garlic onto them. Also, paying a little extra for pre-peeled garlic is worth it since it makes this recipe a cinch to prepare. Kids don’t like garlic? Just leave it off their plate; more for you. Substitute any other herbs for rosemary like thyme or oregano.
