Fabio Viviani, the outspoken “Top Chef” star, stopped by 30 Rock to talk with TODAY.com about the projects he’s working on, like a new line of Bertolli frozen soups, and addresses critics who have castigated him for appearing in a Dominos pizza commercial. "Sometimes people have the wrong perception of why you do stuff," he says, "I don't want to just brush it under the rug."  He touches on how he uses social media to connect with his fans and critics alike and admits that, "You're always going to find somebody who doesn't agree with you."

He also opened up about his take on the Anthony Bourdain/Paula Deen kerfuffle, saying, "If she likes to fry her pound of butter, what do you care, Anthony?"  He advises Bourdain to, "Let it go!"

Viviani is keeping busy these days but does not discount another appearance on Bravo, though it likely won't be with "Top Chef."   He says he's not convinced that the "third time's a charm" to win it all.  Yet there's no question that whatever he gets into, this boisterous Italian chef will keep it interesting.
