Last week on our TODAY's Home Chef Facebook page we asked readers to send us their favorite barbecue tips.
Here are three of our favorite readers' responses:
Megan Rose Patterson: When you're getting the meat ready, season it with garlic powder, onion powder and Season All. And when you're doing the BBQ sauce, we usually mix in some A1. It's all about what you like!
Dianna Pettrone: For something like BBQ chicken, put a nice dry rub on it and put the BBQ sauce on LAST, because if you throw it on the grill with it on there, the sugars in the sauce will quickly burn...and that is NOT good eats.
From Florence Marrow: Marinate the meat overnight. Use milk or tea along with your spices.
These tips put us in the mood for some Southern barbecue! Check out these 20 delicious recipes from our star chefs.
