Movies and the munchies go together like PB&J. And in “Great Movie Sandwiches,” a YouTube video now doing the rounds among movie geeks and foodies, it’s the actors who are doing the eating.
The 1:42 minute short features scenes from movies like "Philadelphia," with Denzel Washington chowing down on a pastrami sandwich while hard at work in the library, and the “sexy deli” scene in “When Harry Met Sally.” Other sandwiches sure to have you running to the kitchen include Adam Sandler’s egg sandwich in “Spanglish” and Kevin Kline's secret sub in “Dave.”
Set to a sweeping cinematic score, the clip has attracted more than 100,000 downloads since it was posted on YouTube on May 6.
