They wanted to make sure it was fun and whimsical, first coming up with creations that looked like dogs. The “pupcakes” started as one breed and eventually grew to a collection of 11 different dogs. With two sons, Tack used her boys as taste testers and critics.

Tack compares simplifying the cupcakes recipes to the book “I Spy.” If you take a look at some of the projects and dissect and break them down, you'll see that they are made largely of marshmallows and jelly beans.
