But on “Today,” the celebrated French chef does the unexpected — he cooks up a delicious Spanish-inspired menu. Of course, that’s not too unexpected, considering Ripert recently opened Barça 18, a Spanish-influenced restaurant (named after a soccer club in Barcelona). Ripert grew up in both countries, so he wanted to bring Spanish cuisine to this country. The three-star Michelin chef was invited on “Today” to share some of his recipes.
