Kathie Lee and Hoda spent the week in Seattle, and on Friday, they took a few bites of some famous eats in the city.
First, they tried specialty hot dogs from Po Dog’s; Hoda had the PB dog, which features crunchy peanut butter and fresh sliced bananas topped with chopped peanuts, all on a frankfurter. Hoda nodded with approval when she chomped on it, but joked, “You know who I’m starting to feel like … Governor [Rick] Perry,” referencing the Texas governor’s hot dog shot that became an Internet meme.
But one item really got the ladies freaked: the geoduck, the largest burrowing clam, which lives in the Puget Sound area. “It’s really one of the most disgusting things I’ve ever seen,” Kathie Lee said. “It’s hard to believe even this had a mother.”
