Would you prefer ice cream or doughnuts? Great news — you no longer have to choose!
Ice cream doughnuts are the newest food trend, and they’re as Instagram-worthy as they are taste bud-friendly.
Thanks to Los Angeles bakery B Sweet, doughnuts are now the perfect treat for a hot day.
In an Instagram post, the bakery explained that guests can choose a scoop of ice cream that will then be heat-sealed into a fresh, hot doughnut.
Described by the bakery as “hot on the outside, cold on the inside and yummy allover,” we would say we’re almost as excited to try the tasty treat as the 1,300 people who liked the photo.
While these sweet treats may be on our bucket list, we haven't tried them just yet. For everyone else who isn't lucky enough to live nearby this creative confectionery, we rounded up some places trying out this tasty trend.
First up is Cookie Monster Ice Cream in the suburbs of San Diego, California.
Afters Ice Cream boasts 15 California locations, and while their treats aren't heat-sealed, they do offer their long list of decadent ice creams on Milky Buns!
Finally, we're definitely eyeing Holey Cream, a New York City bakery that specializes in doughnut ice cream sandwiches.
