Near the end of winter, with thoughts of warm sun and sandy beaches on the mind, people often think about island getaways. But you don’t have to go far to get island flavor. Celebrity chef Eric Ripert, of New York’s famed Le Bernardin, shows some Puerto Rican dishes that will bring the Caribbean to your table. Try baked red snapper with sofrito and sweet potato, Sancocho (Puerto Rican beef stew with sofrito) and Puerto Rican-style white rice.
