Chefs Tre Wilcox and Matt Abdoo are helping us celebrating Sunday Night Football season with the second installment of our TODAY Food Loves Football series. They are cooking up tasty tailgating recipes to support their home teams.

Abdoo shows us how to make an upstate New York-inspired tomato pie pizza and slow-cooker pastrami on rye for the Giants. Wilcox demonstrates how to prepare a Texas-style green-chile cheeseburger and guacamole with edamame for the Cowboys.

New York Nosh:

Upstate New York Tomato Pie Pizza

"I love this recipe because it reminds me of where I grew up," says Abdoo. "It is a staple at every gathering because it's easy to make, tastes great and can feed a crowd."

Slow-Cooker Pastrami Sandwiches

"These meaty sandwiches let you have your deli fix even if you're not in New York. Don't be afraid to pile the meat on, just like they do in the Big Apple."

Dallas Dishes:

"The big, bold flavors of Texas are on full display in this big, beefy burger," says Wilcox. "It combines smoky chiles, spicy chorizo, melty cheese and zesty slaw for a flavor explosion."

Edamame Guacamole

"Edamame adds fresh flavor and unexpected texture to guacamole for a fun and fresh take on this classic snacking standby."
