Elsa from "Frozen" really “let it go” for someone’s birthday, according to one Reddit poster.
The user OfficialBigHead uploaded two side-by-side photos of cakes shaped in the image of the Disney ice princess, along with the caption: “The cake that was ordered and the cake that arrived.”
The post went up over the weekend and people immediately began sharpening their cake knives. Reddit users seized upon the difference in the craftsmanship and appearance between the two photos, which featured a “model” from the cake-decorating tutorial website McGreevy Cakes.
Yet, a photo posted back in January of what appears to be the identical cake being made fun of shows the finished product with a very happy client.
That picture was posted on the Facebook page of an "award winning cake artist specializing in custom cakes." The baker showed off her wares again a few months later in an Instagram post.
Attempts to reach both Reddit user OfficialBigHead and the baker were not returned.
