Pastry chef Dominique Ansel is known for his whimsical creations, but his latest spin on a traditional chocolate Easter egg makes the Cadbury Creme Egg look like child's play.

Meet the "huevocado," the Cronut creator's new chocolatey treat that's molded and colored to look exactly like everyone's favorite toast topping.

According to the bakery's website, the new treat is "made with rich chocolate and filled with mini white chocolate truffle eggs inside." And, of course, it's meticulously decorated with edible coloring agents to mimic the texture and true color of an avocado.

There's no doubt that millions of eaters out there are avocado-obsessed. From more mainstream avocado eats like avocado toast and guacamole, to bizarre trends such as the "avolatte" (yes, people are really serving coffee in avocado shells), restaurants and diners are proving time and time again that there are no limits to what they can do with the Insta-famous fruit. Some fans are even using an avocado as a ring box when they propose!

This year's deceptively healthy-looking Easter must-have is available from March 23 through April 1 at Dominique Ansel LA for $22 and is currently available for pre-order. Although the bakery won't ship their products because they're so fragile, fans are getting creative with how they plan on securing their own huevocado. One Instagram commenter tagged a friend in Los Angeles and asked if he could bring her one, while another wrote "Oh now I'm going to have to find a flight to LA so I can get this."

For those on the East Coast, you can pick up Peter, Dominique Ansel's Easter Bunny creation, at both New York City bakeries from March 23 through April 1.

The lopsided bunny already has customers anxiously waiting for its release. "Someone please get this for me. It's all I've ever wanted," one Instagram user posted.

And Ansel's traditional Peep-a-Boo's are also returning this year, much to the delight of bakery fans on both coasts.

These adorable marshmallow chicks are nestled inside real eggshells that have to be chipped away to reveal a dark chocolate egg surrounding a yellow marshmallow chick with a salted caramel center. So it's basically everything anyone could ever want in a dessert.

The $30 sweet treat can be found at all Dominique Ansel locations starting March 23.
