--------------------------------------------------------------When we considered including this recipe in our first book, our editor asked gently, “Do you have anything else with a more appealing name?” She didn’t want to hurt our feelings but felt the name for this dessert was a bit unappealing. So, we substituted a luscious sounding recipe in its place. She’s right about the name, it wouldn’t win any prizes. But it’s actually quite an accurate description and it tastes so good we had to include it here. We’ve served it for years at the restaurant surrounded by Kahlua custard sauce.
