The Weight Watchers diet plan may have worked a little too well for Anna Jones. In fact, after what happened to her, she may never even look at a slice of cake again, much less eat it.

Coming off a holiday during which she may have indulged a bit, the 32-year-old British woman took a Weight Watchers Country Cake Slice to her workplace as a calorie-conscious snack. She claims she had taken the wrapper off and was about to enjoy when she noticed something drop onto her desk.

Something alive.

"I screamed and everybody came running around my desk," Jones told the U.K. Daily Mail. What she at first feared was a maggot turned out to be a baby caterpillar.

"I have no idea how it got into my cake," Jones said. Neither did Weight Watchers, who said they could not "comment suitably" on the insect incursion without inspecting the creepy cake and packaging.

For Jones, it's a case of not having your cake and not eating it, too. "If I do, I'll be baking my own," she told the Daily Mail.
