Cheetos-topped pizza is coming to Chuck E. Cheese's

Chuck E. Cheese's may be in the process of transforming its kid-friendly restaurants but when it comes to food, the company isn't about to axe its staple dish: pizza.

In fact, the company is getting pretty inventive when it comes to its new pies. In October, the chain rolled out an ombre pizza with slices that resembled candy corn. This fall, they're continuing the cheesy trend with the release of something they've dubbed the Cheetos Mac-Cheesy Pizza, launching in stores nationwide Nov. 1.

And it's quite a sight to be behold.

This new, limited-edition pizza is a mix of cheese sauce mixed with elbow macaroni (aka macaroni and cheese), smothered in melted Colby and mozzarella cheeses ... all topped with a layer of crunchy Cheetos.

“Most people don’t realize that Cheetos have been around for nearly 70 years!” Gregory Casale, Chuck E. Cheese's senior director of culinary innovation, said in a statement.

"Combine them all and the new Cheetos Mac-Cheesy Pizza is sure to be a family favorite.”

At the very least, the pie is likely to give eaters some seriously Cheetos-dusted fingertips.

The Cheetos brand is certainly having a moment of late, from opening a pop-up restaurant to Burger King's Mac n' Cheetos and even last summer’s Cheetos' burritos tested at Taco Bell.

But unlike the dishes available at the short-lived Cheetos pop-up in New York City, Chuck E. Cheese's Mac-Cheesy Pizza will be available at restaurants until the end of this year.
