1. Waffled Macaroni and Cheese

Transform your favorite stove top macaroni and cheese recipe into an extraordinary cheesy waffle.

Here's how: Spread the hot stove top macaroni and cheese on a rimmed baking sheet and refrigerate until well chilled and set. Cut the macaroni and cheese into 4-inch squares. Coat a preheat waffle iron with nonstick cooking spray. Add one square macaroni and cheese, close the iron gently and cook until browned and crisp. Using an offset spatula, transfer to a plate and serve.

2. Grilled Macaroni and Cheese Sandwich

This hack combines two of the greatest comfort foods of all time-grilled cheese sandwiches and macaroni and cheese. And it's a great way to use that little bit of leftover macaroni and cheese.

3. One Pan No-Boil Baked Macaroni and Cheese

Forget about boiling your noodles the next time you make baked macaroni and cheese. This hack saves time and energy. Plus, it'll be the easiest baked macaroni and cheese you've ever made.

4. Fried Macaroni and Cheese Balls

These are perfect for entertaining or an indulgent snack.

Here's how: Prepare your favorite stove-top macaroni and cheese recipe and then let it cool. Form the mixture into 1½-inch balls and put them on a wax paper-lined baking sheet; freeze until firm. Coat the balls in flour and then dip them in beaten eggs. Dredge the coated balls in breadcrumbs, pressing the crumbs to help them adhere. Freeze for 15 minutes. Fry in 350° oil until browned and crisp. Drain on paper towels and serve.
