How great is it to end dinner with a sweet treat? Pretty great. What about ending dinner with a sweet treat you made yourself? That might be even better! But we tell ourselves that it’s too difficult, or it takes special ingredients, and then dig into that default dessert, ice cream.

What if you could open your pantry (or fridge) and find everything you need to make a few awesome and impressive desserts using only three simple ingredients? You’d change your tune, yes? Maybe? Well, check out these desserts, which are easy enough for a weeknight treat but fancy enough to serve at a party (and they're all bite-size, too).

Believe it or not, the secret ingredient is panko breadcrumbs, which are combined with bittersweet chocolate and a little flaky sea salt to make irresistible bites — think silky dark chocolate Nestlé’s Crunch.

These impressive looking mini cheesecake bites are simply little stacks of vanilla wafer cookies (who doesn’t have those on hand?) layered with cream cheese and maple syrup.

These decadent little bonbons combine Golden Oreos and peanut butter, and are dipped in melted chocolate (the photo shows white chocolate, but you can use dark chocolate too). Um, did I mention they’re no-bake, no less? If that doesn’t convince you, well, then, there’s always ice cream.

If you like those no-bake desserts, you should try these, too:

Red, White and Blueberry Pie
