Women have been learning from Stacy London "What Not to Wear" for the past 10 years. But London, whose TLC series wraps on Friday, seems confident ladies and their closets will be able to cope with her absence.

"Everything has its time," she told TODAY's Natalie Morales Thursday. "A whole decade on television was a great run."

And, she added, the show was more than just about improving terrible wardrobes. "I like to think of the show as a Trojan horse," she added. "It really had such an emotional impact. There are very few shows that I think are entertaining and educational and actually emotional."

So ditch the boot cut and slip into your skinny jeans for a segment that offers more insight into how fashion changed between 2003 and 2013. And check out the season finale on TLC on Oct. 18 at 9 p.m.
