Jon Gosselin has already come forward to say he lives "in the woods," but the former reality star revealed to "Entertainment Tonight" that he's also waiting tables at a restaurant in his home state of Pennsylvania.

"At first I was thinking, 'Oh, how are people going to react?' " Gosselin told ET about his job at Black Dog restaurant in Beckersville, Pa. "But then I'm thinking, it's fun, and I get to talk to people, and they, like, technically already know me."

Gosselin said patrons do recognize him from his days on "Jon and Kate Plus 8," the reality show about his life with wife Kate, their twin daughters and their famed sextuplets. "They're like, 'Oh, are you the guy?' And I'm like, 'Yeah, I'm the guy.'"

Gosselin said finding work after his moment in the reality-show spotlight is tough, calling it "next to nearly impossible." He denies that he ever made millions even when living in a $1.3 million house at the height of the show's popularity, although he said, "I don't like to talk about money that much." But he said rumors that he's not "making ends meet" are false. "I've hit rock bottom, like, 20 times and then I just bounce back and go somewhere else," he said.

Jon and Kate Gosselin split up in 2009, and she continued the show for a time under the title "Kate Plus 8." He made tabloid headlines for his dating activities, his choice of Ed Hardy fashions and his penchant for being photographed on yachts, red carpets and in other high-end situations.

"Everyone was paying for it," he said of his luxe life. "And I had to earn income to pay for my legal fees. ... It was contracted so I could earn income."

He now lives in an unidentified location he calls "in the woods" and doesn't have Internet access or television, Gosselin has said. But he wouldn't change a thing.

"I don't regret anything," Gosselin told ET. "Because you learn from your mistakes. That's what builds you into who you are today."

Kate Gosselin is suing Jon Gosselin, claiming he hacked into her phone and computer to supply gossip about her to a tell-all author.
