As you may have heard by now, George Clooney tied the knot over the weekend in Venice.

Or as Businesswoman Media memorably headlined it, "Internationally acclaimed barrister Amal Alamuddin [married] an actor."

But since the beautiful couple couldn't possibly fit everyone who wanted to be there in one of the glamorous motorboats that ferried guests across the canals to the venue, here's a rundown of what you missed:

Today

Who got married?
Two-time Oscar winner Clooney, 53, and human rights lawyer Alamuddin, 36.

What did she wear?
Her wedding dress was reportedly designed by Sarah Burton, creative director of the Alexander McQueen fashion house — the same designer who fashioned Kate Middleton's wedding gown.

Who attended?
Around 150 guests. Fellow stars in attendance included Matt Damon, Cindy Crawford, Bono, Emily Blunt, Anna Wintour and Bill Murray. Crawford's husband Rande Gerber was widely rumored to have served as Clooney's best man.

Where were they going?
The big bash all those stars were heading to was held at the Aman Canal Grande Venice resort, which was part of the 16th-Century palazzo Papadopoli. Reportedly everyone chowed down on a five-course meal that included lobster and wild mushrooms.

But are they actually married? For real?
Though Clooney's rep confirmed that there was a private ceremony on Saturday, on Monday, Venice's City Hall area was closed off so that the pair could sign the documents that would legally make them husband and wife.

Where can I find all of the great pictures?
We've got some right here, but reportedly the couple asked for no cameras during their exchange of vows and instead plan to release official photographs in an as-yet unnamed magazine in exchange for a donation to charity.
