It was a confrontation that shocked "Bachelorette" fans and left plenty of them cracking wise online after it was over. Nick Viall had come face to face with Andi Dorfman after the series finale (and long after getting dumped) and wanted to know why she'd "made love" and did "fiancé type of stuff" with him if she didn't want to be with him in the end.

The only question now is: Does he regret the intimate revelation that Dorfman deemed "below the belt"?

Well … sort of. Maybe. Actually, during a sit down with "Access Hollywood Live," Viall hedged on the question of regret.

"I was surprised, I think, as anyone (that) it came out of my mouth, I suppose," he told host Billy Bush. "If I had anticipated it, maybe it could have been a little more delicate ... but you know, that was something that was weighing on my mind."

So, it's sort of a sorry-not-sorry situation for Viall.

However, TODAY's Kathie Lee Gifford and Jenna Bush Hager (who just happens to be Billy's cousin) listened to what Viall had to say in the interview, and had no problem coming to a clear consensus. Both said you simply "never boink and tell!"
