Samantha Maxwell is the Food & Drink Assistant Editor at Paste Magazine and a freelance food, wine and culture writer. Previously, she was an editor at Mashed. She's currently completing an MA in Gastronomy at Boston University and pursuing a wine education through the Wine and Spirits Education Trust. Samantha has served gyros at music festivals, made hundreds of cake pops a day at a gluten-free bakery and helped customers pair oysters and natural wine at various points throughout her life. She's from Chicago, grew up in Atlanta and now calls Boston home.
