1. We’re so excited to have new mom Jenna Bush Hager back in Studio 1A! Back from maternity leave, the TODAY correspondent admitted this morning that her return from four months of leave after giving birth to baby Mila was “nerve-wracking and bittersweet.”
She reported this morning on a statistic she found surprising – that only 11% of women get paid maternity leave.
Other new parents in the TODAY family — Peter Alexander, Jenna Wolfe, Stephanie Gosk and Mara Schiavocampo — joined her after the segment to talk about their own tales of returning from leave.
2. At the age of 93, Elinor Otto is still doing the same work she started back in 1942 as part of the “Rosie the Riveter” brigade. In a sit-down interview this morning, Savannah asked Elinor why she hasn’t retired yet.
“I can’t do that!” Elinor told her. “People say, ‘What’s your secret?’ and I say, ‘Keep moving!’”
3. Cassidy Wolf, the Miss Teen USA involved in a “sextortion case,” told Savannah she feels both relief and pity for the suspect recently arrested by the FBI.
“It’s weird for me to be able to put a face to the person who did this to me and to know that it was somebody I went to high school with,’’ she said.

In honor of the silly tradition, Carson invited viewers to send in shots of themselves stealing attention in pictures. The submissions were filled with sabotages, courtesy of family members, friends, cats and babies – yes, babies.
5. After photobombing a pic of Carson in the Orange Room, funnyman Kenan Thompson teased the new season of Saturday Night Live. He also chatted about his uncanny impersonation of our own Al Roker.
"All of a sudden I had street cred with my kids!" Al told Willie and Mel B. "I made 'SNL.'"
