Tonight's gonna be a good night!
TODAY was honored with the prestigious 2011 Edward R. Murrow award for Best Use of Video for recreating the viral lip-dub sensation, "I Gotta Feeling."
The clip aired as part of a TODAY Goes Viral, a special series where America's favorite morning show celebrated America's favorite online videos. It was produced by the esteemed Jennifer Long and featured the entire TODAY staff lip-synching to the Black Eyed Peas song in one continuous camera take.
But words can't describe how much fun we had making it. Relive the video below:
We had a blast and had to do it again. We honored Meredith Vieira by sending her off in a similar way with one final "Journey" around the plaza.
