The dynamic TODAY anchor, who is known for covering hard news stories, her savvy style and her energetic personality is 44 years old today. (Yes, we're shocked that she's in her 40s too!)

Tamron's nieces and her best friend's kids sent her birthday messages to start her day off right.

Willie, Al and Natalie bought Tamron her favorite ice cream from Blue Bell in Texas along with a basket full of must-watch films that she hasn't seen like "The Godfather," "The Shining" and "Animal House."

"I know what I am going to be doing tonight," she said with a big smile!
