Big news from the TODAY co-anchor this morning – she's engaged! Savannah's fiance, Mike Feldman, proposed to her over the weekend.

Mike called into the Fourth Hour to discuss the proposal with Kathie Lee and Hoda.

"It's not bad being the luckiest guy in the world," he said. He popped the question on one knee during a vacation in Turks and Caicos. But while many consider the knee-drop to be the clearest proposal signal, it took Savannah a minute to catch on.

"It didn't dawn on me he was actually asking," she told Kathie Lee and Hoda. "He got on one knee and I still thought we were just talking" about getting married, which they often do. It wasn't until he presented the ring box that she realized what was happening.

"I didn't open it for a long time," she said, "because I was just overcome."

Another moment of surprise was on Monday, when Savannah received a dozen roses from actor Bradley Cooper on-air. The actor interrupted the show's "What's Trending TODAY" segment to hand deliver them and his congrats.

Matt kidded Savannah about Cooper's male magnetism: "Wait a minute. You just had your ring on a second ago."

"What? Oh my gosh ... just kidding," Savannah said, showing her bare hand before putting her engagement ring back on.

All joking aside, Savannah is thrilled that she's engaged. She shared that she and Mike have been together for four years and adore each other, and said their families get along as well.

"Our families love each other; they've basically been in-laws for years. They've just been waiting for us to catch up and get with the program."

When's the wedding? "As soon as possible," Mike said over the phone.

Wish Savannah and Mike well in the comments!
