As something of a rock legend, Ringo Starr knows musical talent when he sees it ... and it may be a good thing that Matt has a day job.
The TODAY anchor sat down for a quick drum lesson from the 71-year-old rock legend. Even from the start Matt seemed hesitant. "There's no way I can play drums," he said before the lesson. "I have no musical ability."
"This is the best and worst moment of my life at the very same time," he laughed after Ringo shouted "Nope!"
Ringo joked, "Maybe you should play guitar."
