TODAY / Today

Natalie has been a Where in the World clue-guessing rock star this week.

And today she revealed a secret strategy, like for how she almost correctly guessed Matt was in the Alps today. She gets by with a little help from Google. (Read Matt's clue here).

"I heard the 'James Bond' music," playing in the studio, she admitted on the show this morning, and that got her thinking: Where have the "Bond" movies taken place?

Here's her story behind the sleuthing:

"I heard them playing James Bond music as I was doing 'TODAY in 2,'" Natalie told us. "So of course, I went on Google and searched for train scenes. I remembered a James Bond scene with the trains through the mountains and Switzerland came up for multiple locations in James Bond movies."

Pretty smart, if you ask us. You need every advantage possible when trying to decode Matt's clues.

"So I was mostly right with my Swiss Alps guess," she said. "Anyway, I'm spending way too much time trying to figure out the clues."

We disagree (there's no such thing as too much time! The TODAY.com team has spent many hours trying to work out these clues) but we especially loved Natalie's breaking down of the very difficult Madrid clue on Tuesday.

Natalie insists she was right; it was Matt who was in the wrong location.

"I still say my guess made more sense given the clue," Natalie joked. "It should have been Andorra and not Madrid. Andorra is the highest point on the Iberian Peninsula, is known for its World Cup skiing as well as a stage of the Tour de France, and is free, politically, as a principality between Spain and France, and it's known for its duty free shopping too ... so there!! Bitter, party of one.  Yes, I am."
