Our own Meredith Vieira won a Gracie Allen Award for Outstanding Anchor in the news category, the Alliance for Women in Media announced this week.
TODAY and NBC News also received honors for Outstanding Breaking News Coverage for our reporting on the Haiti earthquake.
And NBC News' Anne Thompson won in the category of Outstanding Reporter/Correspondent for her reports to the "NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams."
The 36th annual awards will be presented at the organization's black-tie ceremony in Los Angeles on May 24.
