Matt, Al, Willie and Carson have found themselves in some hairy situations over the years, but starting November 1, they'll define that word in a whole new way.
The anchors — along with a handful of TODAY staffers — are kicking off "No-Shave November." The group will be throwing away their razors and going au naturel for the entire month in an effort to raise awareness for men's health, specifically prostate and testicular cancer.
They won't be doing it alone. The dudes of NBC News will join thousands of bearded and mustachioed men across the globe. A number of programs, including Movember, look to bring attention to issues of men's health during the month of November.
If you're also ditching your razor for the month, share your photos and videos with #NoShaveTODAY. From the look of things, many of you are already on board.
Don't know what to expect from the anchors? (We don't either!). Here's hoping the beards live up to these fine examples.
