Matt Lauer fulfilled a lifelong dream yesterday -- something that only twoother people recently did before him.
He broke into David Letterman's Ed Sullivan Theater by slamming a metal trash can into the windows.
It was all in good humor as part of a "Late Night" bit. But nevertheless, it looked like Matt was having a great time.
This morning, Al remarked on TODAY that all Matt had to do was open the door. "That's not as much fun," Matt joked.
